Yorkville at a Glance

Yorkville is the heart and centre of downtown Toronto with hundreds of shopping and tourist options. Spanning across Avenue Road and Yonge Street and between Bloor Street and Davenport Road, there is always something new to discover.

With stores like Kate Spade, Burberry, Chanel, Lululemon, Browns Shoes, and Nike, there is something for everyone. Beyond luxury and brand name stores, there is a host of tiny boutique stores such as Paper Things, a boutique gift store supporting The National Ballet of Canada. Every store provides a unique experience for the shopaholic in us. Most of the stores in Yorkville are flagship stores, so at any given night, there could be a starstudded red carpet event, and you won’t know just who you might catch a glimpse of.

Yorkville also plays host to The Holt Renfrew Shopping Centre which houses the Holt Renfrew flagship store. The department store sells the biggest brands in the world and is a popular shopping stop for celebrities and city-goers a like. For a one stop luxury shop, be sure to stop by Holt Renfrew.

The famous Royal Ontario Museum also calls Yorkville its home. As one of the world’s leading museums of natural history and world cultures, the ROM has thousands of permanent exhibits and different rotating exhibits throughout the year. Full of world gems, everyone will love seeing the world through the ROM’s lenses.

The colourful neighborhood also celebrates local organizations and vendors in their various street events throughout the year. In the past, Yorkville has hosted events such as the Yorkville Exotic Car Show, Summer Music in the Park and Icefest.
