On Wednesday, Lataysha, Kim, Danielle and myself went to the Windsor Arms for their High Tea. If you have never been, then it is an experience you should have at least once. Danielle and I have been fortunate enough to have gone a few times at various venues for Mother's Day with our mother & grandmothers, and for Bridal Showers etc.
Another extremely delayed post. I went to the Windsor Arms Hotel for some high tea one afternoon with Welo who had purchased a deal for it earlier and didn’t have anyone else to use it with. Also, it was a 3 minute walk from our workplace, which made it perfect for a long lunch on a Friday afternoon.
I love having tea. We went to the Windsor Arm Hotels. I had to book the tables two weeks in advance. I have heard only good things about this place and I have been waiting for ages. So when we got there, we waited in this really nice lobby.
Yesterday, I got invited to a media event located at Windsor Arm's newest restaurant called "The Living Room". By just reading the name of the restaurant, I could sense that the theme of this newest hotspot is to provide a comfort, relaxing and a cozy gathering place that travellers and Torontonians would found in a "Living Room" type of setting. And this is exactly what The Living Room aims to provide and I am super impressed the moment I stepped into the restaurant.
My daughter and I planned a trip to Toronto,Ontario for a “just the girls” trip before she settled into college.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t in the greatest mood as we rode in the rain from Toronto Pearson International Airport to our destination that was located in the downtown section of the city, the Windsor Arms Hotel. This was to be a special trip for my daughter and myself so I had bought fairly expensive nonstop Air Canada tickets to give us more time to enjoy the city. But instead, we ended up waiting for over an hour at the baggage claim area to finally find out that our bags had been taken off the plane before takeoff because of weight considerations.
