We recently photographed Melissa + David’s beautiful intimate wedding at the Windsor Arms hotel in Toronto. I love photographing weddings at the Windsor Arms as it has a special charm & warmth to it. David had family + friends join him from France for the celebration. The weather was sunny & warm so we went for a stroll to the U of T & surrounding area to photograph Melissa + David. Lisa from Heidi Greunspan was the wedding planner for the day & was awesome to work with. David from Designing Trendz as always did an incredible job with the decor & flowers. Lisa Feinstein shot the video & George St. Kitt’s had the dance floor grooving all night. Melissa + David it was a pleasure to document your wedding you both make a beautiful couple. Congratulations!
Just over the summer, my buddy and I went on a grand ol’ adventure in the UK. It was a lot of fun travelling to London, Edinburgh (pronounced Ed-in-bra), and Glasgow. We went from castle to castle, admired the beautiful (and not so beautiful) men in kilts, and drank lots of tea (and by lots of tea I mean LOTS of tea).
One of the wonderful things about Winterlicious is that it allows you to be introduced to restaurants that you a) normally wouldn't go to, or b) didn't even know were there. The latter was the case in my visit to Prime Steakhouse at the Windsor Arms for lunch last Wednesday. To be honest, I'm not really sure how I missed out on the Prime memo, considering that I live down the street and was even at the Windsor Arms for tea a few weeks ago.
The Windsor Arms Hotel is beyond compare when it comes to enjoying an English tradition in the heart of downtown Toronto. The hotel is a fine example of Toronto’s best: wonderfully finished, kindly staffed, and extraordinarily well catered. It is well known as a photography venue, as one of the classiest places for vacationers to stay, and, perhaps the highlight of all highlights, for their fantastic high tea.
