Last week, I had the chance to stop by the world-renowned Windsor Arms hotel in Toronto after work for a little spa therapy. I was there to experience one of their newest offerings, Speleotheraphy in their salt cave. It’s exactly what it sounds like – a room that looks and feels like a cave (think dark and cool), literally covered in salt from floor to ceiling. The walls are made up of massive salt rocks, with a salt waterfall on one side of the room.
The Windsor Arms Hotel is known for it’s famous TIFF events as well The Tea Room and the other amazing restaurants. Now – there is a new addition to the Windsor Arms Hotel. Earlier this month I headed to the Windsor Arms Hotel for the exclusive launch of the new vintage fashion and accessories shop, The Treasure Chest. There was a constant flow of champagne – hello, I was in heaven, thank you very much.
On May 23rd, I had the pleasure hosting some of my favourite local foodies for a Brunch in the City at the historical Windsor Arms. A collaboration between celebrity chef and host Christine Tizzard (Best Recipes Ever) and Windsor Arms chef Maxime Roy, we enjoyed a delicious (and nutritious) family-style brunch using Canada’s own favourite cooking oil- Canola!
